Linda Hamilton was an American actress, who gained fame for her role as Sarah Connor in The Terminator and its sequel Terminator 2 Judgment Day. Another role she played was that of Catherine Chandler, in the TV series Beauty and the Beast. With her husky, strong voice, she is able to portray characters who have been through great trials and difficulties before they achieve success. Her name is regarded as among the very first female action heroes of Hollywood and earned the title 'Body of the Nineties' because of her muscular physique. Born in a regular Anglo-Saxon family living in Salisbury Maryland she grew up to learn about acting at the age of New York City and attended workshops led by director Lee Strasberg.
